A former Carleton student was introduced to “You Are What You Drive,”
through a cultural history course last summer. She writes about it on Christopher Moore’s History News. For more information on YAWYD, check out our DH@CWorks project site.
Where is the site?
Students completed You Are What You Drive in 2010, but in order for
the site to be hosted by the Canada Science and Technology Museum,
French translations were required in order to make the site fully
bilingual. The translation work was funded by CSTM. The final
translations were added to the site and minor adjustments in graphics
made so that in early 2011 it was handed over to the CSTM. We are now
waiting for it to go live on the main site at any time (fingers
crossed!).
In the meantime, the temporary website has already drawn comments on
h-Canada and is starting to attract traffic. The website is available here for now, but hopefully not for long!
